Important pipeline in the GET H2 network
The DoMa pipeline runs from Dorsten to Marl in the district of Recklinghausen where the chemical park has a high demand for hydrogen which can be supplied via the GET H2 network. The partners in this project are Open Grid Europe GmbH (50 per cent) and Nowega (50 per cent).

Planning status
Following the regional planning assessment by Regionalverbund Ruhr in winter 2022, the planning approval decision followed in 2025.
In June 2023, the project sponsor OGE organised a number of Dialogue Markets featuring themed stands and project maps to inform the public about the next steps in this project, and local citizens had the opportunity to talk to OGE and the project partners and gain further insights into the project.
Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2026.
